The Wi-Fi based application allows rear-seat passengers to access Columbus infotainment system features with their tablet or smartphone. With the ŠKODA Media Command app, you can display system components on the tablet or smartphone and conveniently operate individual functions via the app.

The hands-free system guarantees ease and safety of telephone use while driving. Audiostreaming is also available. You can connect 2 phones simultaneously, use voice control and text-to-speech. The system can read out text incoming messages, which can also be written on the display.

The Phone Box is a storage compartment used to charge mobile phones wirelessly and to amplify the mobile signal with planar antennas. The Phone Box can make and receive mobile calls even when the signal is weak.

SmartLink+ provides information about how you can connect your smartphone with in-built infotainment via Apple CarPlay, Android, MirrorLink™ and SmartGate.

SmartGate is a system that uses Wi-Fi or USB cable to send selected vehicle data to a connected device. The SmartGate feature is a solution interconnecting the car with a smartphone, allowing the user to view more than 40 specs telemetrically on the ŠKODA OneApp.
